I have just switched to 3Ds MAX 2012 64-Bit. Trustme - it's a beast! The Nytrous viewport renderer is amazing (realtime raytracing, color toning, artistic styles, etc) and the addition of iRay and Quicksilver hardware renderers is quite an improvement over MAX 2010 :)

No, it cost $4000 and after that $500 a month, and I'm not even kidding. But then I'm talking about the newest 2013.
